School and Youth Programs From February 9 until February 27, students from South Carolina will be collecting donations to support the mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to find a cure for myeloma and other blood-related cancers. Culinary Luncheon Series The Palm Beach Area Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will be sponsoring the Culinary Luncheon Series at Morton’s Steak House in Boca Raton, FL. on February 10. The event will take place from noon until 2 p.m. For more information, visit the LLS Web site.

Staying Hopeful After a Diagnosis of Cancer – On February 10, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will host cancer counselor Susan Hedlund at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Lake Oswego, OR. Hedlund will be giving a presentation on the connection between mind and body and the importance of positive thinking. A complimentary dinner will be served, and a question and answer session will follow. The program will run from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. For more information, visit the LLS Web site.
