I was put on 10 mg of Revlimid on 21 days off 7, 40 mg of Dex a week and 2.6mg of Velcade once a week. I also received Aredia once a cycle. I went through 6 cycles of that format and have had a near complete response. Since then my Oncologist has backed the Dex and Velcade back to once every two weeks. I am still on the Revlimid at 10 mg each day as before and have gone through two more cycles maintaining the response. He said if I continue the response he may back down the Revlimid as well. A bone marrow transplant was discussed but since I have had such a good response that has been taken out of the discussion. I am 57 and an avid cyclist putting in close to 100 miles a week working around my treatments. Ron I was diagnosed with MM stage two in March 2009.
