Jan was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2007 and maintained her blog through mid-2009. She wrote detailed entries, several times a month, on her experiences with her treatment. There is a sidebar on the right that chronicles, in pictures, the loss and regrowth of her hair following treatment.
