On Laughing Plasma Cells, Scott Woodward writes once a month about how he is responding to his multiple myeloma treatments. He also occasionally posts about the latest in myeloma research news. Woodward was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in late 2005. Alongside his writing about his myeloma, Woodward gives brief, lively anecdotes about his recent vacations, adopting a stray cat, and the change of seasons in western New York state, where he lives with his wife. He currently teaches at the University at Buffalo.
