medicare coverage of post transplant immunizations

by zephyrus on Thu Feb 07, 2013 9:16 pm

Help! The local public health clinic hasn't a clue how to have medicare cover immunizations (we need Pneumococal {PCV}, hepatitus {HepB}, Haemophilus Influenzae type B {Hib}, polio {IPV}, Diptheria - Tetanus {DTap}). They accessed an online application (transactRX) but it was denied. I know that medicare covers at least some of this, but how to get it approved or "assigned"? We also have AARP Supplemental (they are no help). Who do we call?
