Does anyone here have any first hand experience taking perifosine for their multiple myeloma? Or, if you don't have any experience yourself, have you heard from anyone who has, and what have you heard?
I've been reading up on the drug. It's not yet officially approved as a myeloma treatment, but it's apparently close to being approved. What I don't understand is why it doesn't seem to get the same kind of press that other new myeloma drugs get. Is it not as good? Does it only work with certain kinds of patients? Does it have a lot of negative side effects?
