She received a stem cell transplant in November 2010 and is currently in remission. An avid runner, Jean has participated in a triathlon, a marathon, and numerous other races since her initial diagnosis to raise funds and awareness for multiple myeloma. She updates her blog once a month, writing about her treatment experiences and her adjustment to a “new normal” life.</p>

The blog begins just before Joe received a donor stem cell transplant in November 2010, and it was updated several times a week during the transplant and the first month of Joe’s recovery.  Since then, Linda writes a couple of times per month, often about a complication called graft-versus-host disease that Joe developed after his transplant.</p>

He received a stem cell transplant in August 2010 and is currently in remission. In his detailed blog postings, Peck regularly writes about his progress with the disease, his meetings with doctors, and the support he is receiving from family and friends.  He also discusses his efforts in raising money for the disease by writing about current and upcoming fundraising events. He updates his blog at least once a week.</p>
