Participants will walk carrying a lighted balloon, in support of those touched by blood cancer. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Ducks Stadium in Central Islip.

October 23 (Baltimore, MD) – 6th Annual Baltimore Harbor Leukemia Cup Regatta

To benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and help find a cure for blood cancers, join the Baltimore Harbor Leukemia Cup fundraising Regatta Saturday October 23rd at 11 a.m.

October 22 (Anywhere) Be Bold, Be Bald

Anyone in the United States can support cancer patients who lose their hair due to treatment by wearing a bald cap on October 22. An event kit, which includes a bald cap and a t-shirt, can be purchased from the Be Bold, Be Bald organization website, and all proceeds will benefit the International Myeloma Foundation and other cancer charities.

October 22 (San Mateo, CA) – 1st Annual Rob MacLeod Memorial Golf Tournament

The 1st Annual Rob MacLeod Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Friday October 22 to benefit the MMRF. To honor Rob Macleaod, an avid golfer who lost his battle with multiple myeloma in November 2009, his family has organized an afternoon of golfing followed by a cocktail hour, silent auction, and dinner in the club house.
