Brian joined Light Knowledge Resources in June 2007. Prior to his work at LKR, he spent two years performing biomedical research at Weill Cornell Medical College. As a member of the team at LKR, Brian works on the development of the Beacon websites. His many interests include tennis, triathlon, and good food.

Dr. Jing Chen, an assistant professor at Emory University, received a $720,000 award from the American Cancer Society to study new drug targets for multiple myeloma.

“This award will help us to extend our work finding and validating critical signaling effectors that could be therapeutic targets in the future,” said Chen.
